I joined Sun City Lincoln Hills, an active adult retirement community in Northern California, as their inaugural Advertising & Promotions Director. My primary responsibility was to rebrand and promote the association-run businesses, which included an on-site restaurant, a catering department, an event venue, a day spa, a resident activities and entertainment department, and a wellness and fitness department.
This involved a multi-day photo shoot to showcase the association’s services and amenities, developing advertising campaigns for the association’s monthly magazine, and launching the community’s social media presence by creating Facebook accounts for all association businesses. This refreshed rebranding initiative led to increased community engagement, as evidenced by higher class registrations, greater event attendance, and increased association revenue.
