Provided a range of creative solutions for clients in a variety of industries including real estate, hospitality, health & wellness, travel, events and digital medicine. Developed branding, logos, marketing collateral, signage, websites, videos, and social media graphics. Collaborated with web developers, photographers, printers and video editors to complete projects. Managed multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.Honed entrepreneurial, networking and time management skills as a business owner-operator.

2012 - 2013
Director of Advertising & Promotions
Built and launched the association’s Marketing department as the inaugural Director of Advertising & Promotions for Northern California’s largest active adult retirement community. Re-branded association businesses: an on-site restaurant, catering department, event venue, day spa, resident activities & entertainment department, and wellness & fitness department. Rebranding increased community engagement measured by class registration, event attendance, and association revenue. Organized a multi-day photo shoot capturing the association’s services & amenities. Developed novel ad campaigns for the association’s monthly magazine. Initiated a social media presence by creating Facebook accounts for all association businesses, including designing graphics, writing, and scheduling posts.
2001 - 2003
Design Director
Managed two Graphics departments for Sacramento’s NBC & WB affiliates. Designed and implemented daily news, programming and promotions graphics & animations for both stations, while maintaining separate identities. Created custom show graphics and sets for special programs and events including the Olympics and presidential elections. Ensured creative quality for on-air news graphics and trendsetting promo packages for the highest rated TV station in the Sacramento region.
1999 - 2001

Design Director
Led team rebranding KNTV’s identity from an ABC to an NBC affiliate, setting the stage for one of the highest-rated Bay Area news stations. Built two design departments (San Jose & San Francisco) including hiring of design staff and purchasing equipment & software. Developed style guides, asset libraries and project request systems. Designed two station graphics packages while maintaining their unique identities (NBC & WB) including newcast opens, on-air graphics, animations and sets. Art directed custom graphic packages for special programs including the BAMMIES (Bay Area Music Awards) and the San Francisco Pride Parade.
