Sun City Lincoln Hills, Director of Advertising & Promotions
First Director of Advertising & Promotions for Northern California’s largest active adult retirement community. Created this new department for the association from the ground up. Oversaw brand development, redesigned websites, strategized ad campaigns, developed marketing materials, debuted social media, and supervised photo shoots. Provided marketing and design support for the association-run businesses including: on-site restaurant, event venue and catering department, full-service day spa, resident activities department, wellness & fitness department, and an annual summer concert series. Increased community engagement, measured in class registration, event attendance, and association businesses' revenue.
2001 - 2003
KCRA-TV & KQCA-TV, Art Director
Art Director for two Graphics departments with individual identities for Sacramento’s NBC & WB affiliates. Designed and implemented News, Programming and Promotions graphics & animations for both stations, each with separate identities. Created custom show graphics and sets for special programs including the Olympics and the California State Fair. Helped to increase and maintain viewership, community presence, and ad revenue for the Sacramento area's most watched and highest-rated news station.
1998 - 2001
KNTV-TV & KBWB-TV, Sr. Broadcast Designer/Animator promoted to Art Director
Sr. Designer promoted to Art Director for the San Francisco Bay Area NBC & WB duopoly. Led the design team overseeing the redesign of KNTV’s brand identity as the station transitioned from an ABC to San Francisco’s NBC affiliate. Responsible for building and expanding two design departments (in two locations: San Jose and San Francisco), including hiring design staff and purchasing equipment (hardware & software). Developed and implemented graphics packages for both stations while maintaining unique identities for each. Designed News opens, on-air graphics and sets. Art directed custom graphic packages for special programs including the BAMMIES (Bay Area Music Awards) and the San Francisco Pride Parade.​​​​​​
